Suggested/green light: lamb, beef or horse bresaola (without lactose or other additives), dried meat, Carne Salada (fresh beef meat preserved with salt and spices), kid, roe deer, horse, heart and liver (not pork), beef, mutton, calf.
Neutral: duck, rabbit, hare, capon, chicken, rooster, hen, turkey, pheasant, ostrich.
Not recommended/red light: wild boar, pork (meats and salami especially if smoked), goose, any type of smoked meat.
Red meat: do not combine it with cereals or dairy products, you can do it with vegetables and fruit.
Suggested/green light: herring, halibut, pike, cod, hake, bream, perch, swordfish, amberjack, not smoked salmon, sardine, mackerel, sole, sturgeon, rainbow trout.
Neutral: anchovy, eel, lobster, squid, carp, grouper, whitefish, mussels, shrimp, crab, land snails (especially Helix Pomatia), sea bream, oyster, pangasius, frogs, sea bass, tuna, mullet, salmon trout, clams.
Not recommended/red light: herring or pickled herring, caviar, dogfish, catfish, octopus, smoked salmon, cuttlefish.
Better to prefer natural fish, not canned. Avoid fried, breaded or smoked fish.
Neutral: feta (fresh goat cheese or Greek type sheep), goat cheese. Cow's milk mozzarella.
Not recommended/red light: All other dairy products. Beware of fatty and mature dairy products but also the soft ones; especially milk, yogurt, and ice cream.
Although some cow dairy products are indicated as neutral, their consumption is not recommended. More and more scientific studies show that there is a correlation between dairy consumption and tumor development. For this reason, in addition to not being tolerated by a large part of the population, dairy products should be consumed as little as possible or completely eliminated from a healthy diet.
Soy and Derivatives
Neutral: Gluten-free soy cheese (tofu), soy drink, soy yogurt.
Check if the soy products are well tolerated by your body; sometimes it can create problems. It is important to always choose organically grown soybeans that do not contain GMOs
Suggested/green light: never fried in oil or butter. For cooking eggs, it is preferable to use pans with a stone bottom.
Oils and Fats
Suggested/green light: grapeseed oil (grape seed), linseed oil, rice oil, pumpkin seed oil.
Neutral: butter (better than winter, little and raw, never fried), cod liver oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil, extra virgin olive oil, olive oil, soybean oil.
Not recommended/red light: peanut oil, corn oil.
It is always better to consume raw oil and butter, using them directly on the plate; avoid cooking or frying them.
Seeds and dried fruit
Suggested/green light: walnuts and pumpkin seeds
Neutral: chestnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecan nuts, pine nuts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, almond butter, hazelnut butter, sesame butter (Tahini), use these types of butter in moderation.
Not recommended/red light: cashew nuts, peanuts, peanut butter, brazil nuts, pistachios, poppy seeds.
Do not combine chestnuts with cereals and dairy products. Avoid them during the summer. Check that the sugary dried fruit (figs, plums, dates, raisins, etc.) is not treated artificially and that it does not contain added sugars.
Always prefer organic products.
Suggested/green light: Azuki (red soy), eye beans.
Neutral: Fresh borlotti, chickpeas, cannellini beans, black and red beans, fava beans, lupins, peas, yellow and green soybeans, snow peas.
Non recommended/red light: dried borlotti, Spanish beans, lentils, and red lentils.
Although soybeans are among the recommended foods, some people don't tolerate it. It is always better to check their tolerability in small doses first. There are three types of soybeans: yellow, green and red. All legumes should never be combined with dairy products, fruit, and cereals. Better to combine them with meat, fish, eggs, and vegetables.
Cereals and the like
Neutral: amaranth, buckwheat, millet, quinoa, rice (white, black, red, wild, wholemeal, semi-wholemeal, and puffed), rice flour, tapioca.
Non recommended/red light: oats, wheat bran and wheat germ, couscous, spelled, potato starch, wheat (durum and soft wheat flour, bread, and pasta), Kamut, corn, corn starch, popcorn, barley, pearl barley, rye and rye bread, durum wheat semolina.
As we age, it is best to avoid starchy foods and cereals. Especially at dinner, it would be a good rule not to use it; they tend to raise cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight. Among the crackers that best satisfy balanced eating habits, always not exceeding their use, we mention the crackers of quinoa, rice, millet or buckwheat.
Buckwheat: it's better to avoid it in summer.
Rice in any form should not be consumed together with wine, pumpkin, tomato and lemon.
Pasta: only if made from oats, rice, millet, bareley.
Bread: made with rice, millet, quinoa, and buckwheat, can be eaten without exaggerating.
Suggested/green light: seaweed, chard (herbs and ribs), broccoli, artichokes, savoy cabbage, chicory, onion, parsnip, sweet potatoes, leek, spinach, dandelion, pumpkin.
Neutral: asparagus, beetroot, carrot, cabbage, chervil, cucumber, Daikon, fennel, mushrooms (except champignons), bean sprouts, escarole endive, curly endive, lettuce, green olives, pepper, tomato, parsley, radicchio, radish, arugula, shallot, celery, black and white truffle, Jerusalem artichoke, ginger, courgettes.
Non recommended/red light: cauliflower, brussels sprouts, red cabbage, champignon mushrooms, sweet corn, eggplant, black olives, potatoes.
Always use seasonal vegetables, organically grown. The varieties of mushrooms are many and change with the climate and latitude. Avoid eating them in breadcrumbs and fried, better sautéed with eggs.
In the case of hepatitis or other liver problems, it is best to avoid consuming mushrooms.
For this blood group, if the inflammation of the digestive system occurs, it is best to avoid garlic. Something similar can happen with onion; with advancing age, problems in digesting it are possible.
Suggested/green light: pineapple, cherry, plum.
Neutral:apricot, carrot, blueberries, grapefruit, grapes.
Not recommended/red light: orange, apple.
Juices should be consumed rarely, avoided entirely in winter.
Suggested/green light: fig (fresh and dry), plum (fresh and dry).
Neutral: apricots, pineapple, watermelon, bananas, persimmons, cedar, cherries, dates, prickly pears, kiwi, raspberry, lemon, mango, pomegranate, apple, yellow melon, blueberries, papaya, pears, peaches, grapefruit, black and red currants, elderberry, grapes.
Not recommended/red light: oranges, avocados, strawberries, mandarins, melon, blackberries, coconut, Chinese rhubarb, mandarins.
The use of seasonal organic fruit is recommended, preferably in summer. Eat it alone or with meat, fish, oilseed meals; avoid it with cereals.
Intolerances towards peaches are very common; those who manifest the symptoms must refrain from consuming them. Dried fruit (plums, figs, raisins, dates, etc.), should be organically grown and never with added sugar.
Jams are allowed but it is better to consume them alone (as a snack) or combined with meat or egg proteins. Always avoid the combination with cereals and starchy foods.
Spices and the like
Suggested/green light: turmeric, curry, cayenne pepper.
Neutral: bay leaf, dill, anise, basil, bergamot, chervil, cloves, coriander, cumin, tarragon, chives, fennel seeds, brewer's yeast, soy miso, mint, paprika, black pepper, chili pepper, rosemary, sage, salt (without exceeding use), savory, mustard without vinegar, tamari (soy sauce), thyme, saffron.
Not recommended/red light: Vinegar (of all types), cinnamon, capers (especially pickled), ketchup, glutamate, nutmeg, white pepper, mustard with vinegar, vanilla.
Avoid consuming nut for broth containing glutamate or chicken. Paprika, black pepper, and hot pepper are to be used in moderation.
Sweets and sweeteners
Suggested/green light: carob.
Neutral: rice-based drink, millet-based drink, molasses, almond milk, honey (not orange or eucalyptus), maple syrup, beet sugar, brown sugar, chocolate (use dark chocolate occasionally) also with hazelnuts.
Not recommended/red light: aspartame, candy, chewing gum, synthetic sweeteners, sugar-free desserts, fructose, maltodextrin, corn malt, cereal malt containing gluten, agave syrup, xylitol.
Honey should be dissolved in a warm (not hot) or room temperature drink. It is possible to consume honey with protein foods. Sugar is extracted from sugar cane and belongs to the grass family. So-called "sugar-free sweets" do not exist; even if they do not contain sucrose, they are made with glucose, fructose, maltose, xylitol, etc.
Preserves and sauces
Neutral: sauces based on artichoke, green olives, tomato, parsley, and chili pepper (without exaggerating), basil pesto (without cheese), mayonnaise made with tolerated oils, fruit jams allowed.
Not recommended/red light: ketchup, basil pesto with cheese, eggplant and black olives sauces, sauces that contain all kinds of vinegar or cream.
Suggested/green light: natural water, chicory coffee.
Neutral: rice beer (not corn or wheat), chamomile, Karkade, green tea, white wine, red wine.
Not recommended/red light: carbonated or cola-based diet drinks, coffee, ginseng coffee, barley coffee, cider, spirits, tamarind, white tea, black tea, decaffeinated tea.
As for wine, it is best to avoid it in the evening. It can be used instead of oil for cooking. It is preferable to drink the one without adding sulfites.
As for ginseng coffee, check that it contains only coffee and ginseng and not barley, cream or other substances.
Avoid consuming drinks that are too concentrated. For example, in the case of a cup of green tea, it is advisable not to leave the product bag in infusion for too long.
Herbs and plants
Suggested/green light: fenugreek, mulberry, hops, peppermint, elm, passionflower, propolis, dandelion, linden, ginger.
Neutral: hawthorn, calendula, ginseng, chamomile, licorice root, parsley, sage, elderberry, fennel seeds, thyme.
